headlines?

well, i really dont feel like doing work, and i havent done this in a while, so its about time to take some cheap shots at some people in the news.

1) the blind leading the blind

2) i dont get this. if you're so religious, and god is the greatest whatever, shouldnt that trump eating corned beef on st. patricks day, even if its on a friday during lent? i mean, if you can just change the rules to do what you want (e.g. abstain from meat on sat, the 18th instead), how does that differ from my religion where i just do what i want?

3) p.i.t. (priest in training)

4) is giuliani running san fran now?

5) oh, the foolproof jury system. and let me ask, would it really have been better if he was 105?

6) just read the first line of the story. man, those des moines police are sharp!

7) i dont see any problem with this (and not just cuz i also see bush as hitler, jr.). i mean, look at most high school graduates who "learned" the basic curriculum. i think we can all agree it wouldnt hurt to have them challenged to think critically. then again, the world needs robotic obedient ditchdiggers too.

wow, who knew breaking laws of the church was that easy. all you have to do is ask.

well, i guess even that is too hard for the bush administration. all they had to do was ask a court for thier illegel wire taps. some christian he is.

all they had to do was ask? WTF, whats the point of having these rules when they can be broken on a whim. its like that commercial with the monkey in an office and they turn the chart sideways, honor St. patric or say fuck it to lent. lets party!

I read another article when that story just came out about that teacher. They interviewed one of the opposing students and he said something like- the teacher was "pushing a liberal agenda". Now either that kid is watching too much fox news or his parents are using the kid as a pawn.

george bush once made a comment about how history will tell us how the war will turn out. i always thought that was kind of creepy since the people who write the history books are liberals. the south doesn't read. the people who read books are the people who write them.

ooh sounds like i touched a nerve. i'm just sitting here in my NE liberal elitest headquarters, preaching about how people should live and telling everyone they aren't as smart as i am because i have my fancy degree. whats wrong with that?
