google adsense

is about as useful as a castrated male prostitute, so i deleted it. in a month or so, i had only accumulated $3.76 from hosting ads. well, i'll tell you what. i'm not going to let people advertise on my site unless i'm making bank. google should stick to what it's good at--fast, easy porn searches.

That's all I needed to know. We're not putting AdSense on the revamped site then. (once it's up in 5 months....)

am i the only one that thinks 3.76$ in about a month from, what like ten people, isn't that bad?

if anything that sounds encouraging.

matt, what do you mean 10 people? that may be about how many comment, and that might be what you mean, but in that time my blog has had about 1700 hits. if no one clicks on the ads, you dont get paid. the ads often vary according to the content of your blog, but i've found its generally unlikely people will click on your ads. and you cant click on your own, or google cancels your account.

i dont know, i didnt find it too worthwhile.

yeah but 1700 people didn't click on the ads did they? and this goes back to my site meter comments on the WM. that was the reason i got rid of it. the inacuracy killed it.

well, no, but the point is no one clicks on the ads, and you cant click on your own.

regarding sitemeter, its quite accurate on my blog. what we'd have to do for wm is get everyone who contributes to block their ips to get a realistic reading of outside traffic.
