runnin hot

this weekend was just fucking awesome. it put the bizzare tuesday "interview" way behind me. that was such a crock of shit, even moreso than i was expecting, but whatever.

friday night i had a migraine, but it forced me to go to bed early and get some much needed sleep. i hadn't had a full night's sleep in a couple weeks, so to get 13.5 hrs was just what i needed.

saturday, my friend invited me to a housewarming for her new apartment. i knew it would be fun, but it turned out to be even more fun than i was anticipating. i got to see laura who i hadnt seen in a few months, as well as a number of other people i dont get to hang out with on a regular basis. we had some beers, some good conversation, drinking games, and great burgers.

this morning was the high point. dominique and i officially signed a lease to an apartment! we'll slowly be painting and moving in over the next week or so. the apartment is nice and big, and is in a great location (pictures possibly forthcoming). plus, i hit up the poker room at the casino and picked up an extra $238.

good times all around. this weekend was great. i'm in the perfect mood going into the week.
