great moments in lawyering

today for lunch i brought leftovers from dinner last night, which included a healthy amount of red sauce. i just finished eating, and my clean white shirt is still clean and white. this might be the greatest accomplishment i have all summer.

this may or may not become a series...we'll see how many great moments i have.

hahahahaha. full in the crotch, right? ;)

so have you noticed the male lawyers there tucking their ties into their shirts, b/t the shirt buttons, when they eat lunch, to keep from getting something on their ties? i never noticed people doing that before i started lunching with lawyers. of course, i never lunched with people who wore suits and ties everyday until i became a lawyer.

i've seen it before, and have thought about it myself. but the thing is, the tie guards the middle of the shirt. and shirts are more expensive than ties, so one might just be inclined to ruin the tie first. however, ties can be more unique. i guess it's a toss up really, a matter of personal preference.

Shirts are more expensive, but they're easier to clean. Getting spilled sauce out of a silk tie is a serious pain in the ass.
