oh, nebraska

a good reason to card your prospective girlfriend. just hope she doesn't have a fake. although, i suppose if you card her you might be able to show you didn't have the requisite mens rea for the crime. i mean, the ID said she was of age, and you just thought she was fond of gardening.

It's a strict liability crime...God I can't believe I remembered that from crim law.

Does a 6-year-old have the requisite mens rea to sexually assault/harass another 6-year-old? Are school officials in Brockton, Mass. being ridiculous in the enforcement of their sexual harassment policy? Is Mom blind to the fact that her little first-grader is a pedophile? Can it be called pedophilia if the predator is stalking victims his own age? Did teachers apply their policy in a sexually discriminatory manner by not also punishing the obviously equally predatory six-year-old girl for touching the boy's wee wee before he touched her hoo hoo? Are these kids exhibiting natural child-like curiousity about their bodies, or are they really hot and heavy and wanting to jump each other's bones? How many more ridiculous questions are inspired by this even more ridiculous story?

clearly massachusetts' leniency towards same sex couples has lead to this increase in aberrent sexual behavior amongst school children!
